Due to the impact of COVID-19, the 2020 Olympic is postponed to be held in July 2021. Ten top athletes from National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) earn spots at Tokyo Olympics to compete for the most honorable prize with other top players around the world. The Tokyo Olympics will begin on July 23rd and the athletes are counting down the days. Until July 17, Taiwan has acquired 68 spots in 18 sports and 10 of them are from NTNU, the Department of Athletic Performance and the Department of Physical Education.[ more ]

A new milestone made by black hole researchers! Scholars at the Department of Physics are part of the Event Horizon Telescope collaboration team. Since its first black hole photo shot two years ago, they image magnetic fields at the edge of M87’s supermassive black hole.[ more ]

Background and purpose: It is helpful to study the causes of diseases by discussing their cormorbidities. The cause of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), a deadly disease, remains unknown. The study used a medical database to explore the diseases associated with ALS.[ more ]

As the key sister school of NTNU, Kyushu University has been involved with many activities with NTNU for the past few years. Last year, both universities send teachers abroad as exchange for the first time. Professor and Director of Research Center for Artificial Intelligence in Investment and Asset Management Christine W. Lai went to Kyushu University Business School, QBS in the fall semester of 2020 for 15 weeks.[ more ]

The Office of International Affairs and Foreign Language Education Division of Common Core Education Committee held a meaningful event for international students to join and interact with local students from April 19 to 30. More than 80 international degree students and students from NTNU Mandarin Training Center participated in over 30 classes, talking about various issues including dining cultures, social issues, personal experiences, the history of the NTNU campus, etc.[ more ]

國際生入班交流會 培養學生跨文化能力 一起開口說英語，和各國學生交朋友。國立臺灣師範大學國際事務處與教務處共同教育委員會外文教育組於2021年4月19日至30日舉辦國際生入班交流會，超過80位國際學位生和臺師大國語教學中心的學生參與，與英語學系及共同英文課程等共30個班級學生進行課堂互動，以英語討論各國飲食文化、國際議題，分享自身經歷和校園歷史，突破語言限制，培養跨文化溝通能力。[ more ]
