French Cultural and Tourism Mobility Program Expands Global Learning Horizons
鏈結重點校法國波爾多大學 歐文所移地教學與見習

The Graduate Institute of European Cultures and Tourism launched the French Cultural and Tourism Mobility Program, a nine-day field-based study course held in France from June 19 to 27, 2025. Led by Dr. Yi-De Liu, NTNU Vice President for International Affairs and faculty member of the Institute, seven students visited Bordeaux, Angers, and Paris to explore France’s diverse cultural and tourism landscape through on-site study of heritage sites and destinations.[ more ]

為促進國際化發展並深化跨國學術合作,臺師大訂定「推動國際合作交流補助辦法」,鼓勵師生走出校園拓展視野,與世界接軌。臺師大歐洲文化與觀光研究所推動「法國文化與觀光移地教學計畫」,2025年6月19日至27日,由本校國際事務處處長暨歐文所教授劉以德帶領7位學生赴法國波爾多、昂傑、巴黎,展開為期九天的法國觀光移地教學課程,親身走訪法國各地文化遺產與觀光據點,實地體驗文化觀光之多元樣貌。[ more ]


Department of Physics Hosts the 69th Fullerenes–Nanotubes–Graphene General Symposium (FNTG69)
物理系舉辦富勒烯-奈米碳管-石墨烯國際研討會 串聯多國學生共創新契機

The 69th Fullerenes–Nanotubes–Graphene General Symposium (FNTG69), a long-running international meeting dedicated to research on carbon-based nanomaterials, was held at National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) from September 24 to 26. The symposium convened at NTNU’s Gongguan Campus II and brought together researchers and students from institutions across Asia and the Americas for three days of presentations and discussion.[ more ]

「第69屆富勒烯–奈米碳管–石墨烯國際研討會」於9月24日至26日在國立臺灣師範大學和平校區II綜合大樓202與210會議廳舉行。與會人員包括來自日本東京大學,京都大學,大阪大學,東北大學,名古屋大學,九州大學,北海道大學等各校的150位師生,及來自臺灣各大學的50位師生,並有韓國、印度、印尼、美國、與巴西的學者共同參與。[ more ]


NTNU Leads New Thinking in Asia-Pacific Teacher Education: Teacher Preparation Becomes a Global Focus in the AI Era
臺師大引領亞太教育新思維 AI時代教師培育成全球焦點

The 2025 Annual Conference of the Asia-Pacific Association for Teacher Education (APATE) was successfully held at National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) from October 17 to 18. Under the theme “Teacher Education in the Age of AI: Making a Difference in the Asia-Pacific Region,” the event brought together educational leaders and scholars from more than ten countries across Asia, the Americas, and Europe to explore new directions in teacher development and educational innovation amid the rise of artificial intelligence.[ more ]

亞太師資教育協會(Asia-Pacific Association for Teacher Education, APATE)2025國際研討會,於10月17日至18日在國立臺灣師範大學盛大舉行。會議以「AI時代的師資教育:在亞太區域創造影響力」為主題,邀集來自亞洲、美洲及歐洲十餘國教育領袖與學者齊聚一堂,探討人工智慧浪潮下教師專業發展與教育創新的新方向。[ more ]


NTNU Advances EMI Teaching and International Collaboration with Fulbright
臺師大深化EMI教學與國際合作 與Fulbright基金會攜手打造全校雙語支持系統

As global higher education increasingly emphasizes English-Medium Instruction (EMI) and intercultural competence, National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) continues to strengthen its bilingual learning environment and expand international partnerships. On Tuesday (11/19), the Office of Bilingual Education (OBE) and the Center for Academic Literacy (CAL) hosted a delegation from three U.S. universities (Columbia University, University of Maryland College Park, and Arizona State University), showcasing NTNU’s progress in EMI curriculum development, student support, and cross-cultural collaboration.[ more ]

Department of Chemistry Hosts Taiwan–Japan–Korea Joint Symposium
強化國際學術交流!臺師大化學系首辦臺日韓三方研討會 簽署MOU開啟新篇章

The Department of Chemistry hosted the 2025 Kyushu University–NTNU–Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology Joint Symposium on November 27 and 28. The event marked the first trilateral symposium involving institutions from Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea and was held to strengthen academic exchange among leading research universities in East Asia.[ more ]

國立臺灣師範大學化學系於11月27日及28日舉辦「2025 KYUSHU U. NTNU AND UNIST JOINT SYMPOSIUM」(臺日韓三方聯合研討會)。本次研討會旨在深化與亞洲頂尖學府的學術交流與合作,不僅迎來長期的學術夥伴日本九州大學,更首度邀請韓國蔚山科學技術院(Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology, UNIST)加入,成功將雙邊交流升級為跨國三方合作,並於會中完成重要合作備忘錄(MOU)的簽署,為未來的聯合研究與師生互訪奠定堅實基礎。[ more ]

In early December, President Cheng-Chih Wu of National Taiwan Normal University(NTNU) led a delegation including Executive Vice President Frank Yung-Hsiang Ying, Dean of the College of Science Jein-Shan Chen, and Vice President for International Affairs Yi-De Liu on an official visit to Poland and Romania. The delegation visited the University of Warsaw (UW), the “1 Decembrie 1918” University of Alba Iulia (UAB), and Babeș-Bolyai University (UBB). [ more ]

Nobel Laureate John Clarke Advances Quantum Sensing Research at NTNU, Driving New Biomedical Applications
光電所John Clarke講座教授獲諾貝爾獎 從量子感測到生醫應用 光電所團隊助力落地實現

NTNU Chair Professor John Clarke has been awarded the 2025 Nobel Prize in Physics for his pioneering contributions to quantum sensing and superconducting electronics. His long-term collaboration with NTNU’s Graduate Institute of Electro-Optical Engineering has helped translate frontier quantum technologies into biomedical tools, including a blood-based diagnostic test for dementia now in clinical use.[ more ]

NTNU is Working with Caltech to Advance Quantum Memory Tech
臺師大物理系與美國加州理工學院攜手 突破量子記憶體應用新技術

A recent collaboration between the Department of Physics at National Taiwan Normal University and the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) has successfully overcome a key bottleneck in quantum memory technology. The study demonstrates that at extremely low temperatures, a magnetic field induces polarity ordering in monolayer molybdenum disulfide (MoS₂) transistors.[ more ]

國立臺灣師範大學物理系與美國加州理工學院(Caltech)合作的最新研究,成功突破了量子記憶體技術的關鍵瓶頸。研究顯示,在極低溫下,磁場誘發單層二硫化鉬(MoS₂)電晶體中產生的極性有序現象。這一突破將為二維材料與電子科技發展帶來革命性改變。[ more ]


NTNU Physicists Achieve Multilevel Photomemory via Vortex Light
物理系團隊以「渦旋光」實現多階光電記憶 開創光控儲存新篇章 研究成果刊登於國際頂尖期刊《Science Advances》

A research group led by Professors Yen-Wen Lan and Ting-Hua Lu of the Department of Physics, in collaboration with PhD student Yeh-Ru Chen, master’s student Po-Wen Wang, and postdoctoral researcher Wen-Hao Chang, has published new findings in the October 2025 issue of Science Advances. The article, titled “Orbital angular momentum–driven multistate photomemory,” presents a method for achieving multilevel photomemory utilizing the orbital angular momentum (OAM) of light.[ more ]

臺師大物理學系藍彥文、陸亭樺教授領導研究團隊,成員包括博士生陳燁儒、碩士生王柏文與博士後研究員張文豪,於2025年10月在國際知名學術期刊《Science Advances》發表最新研究成果,論文題目〈Orbital angular momentum–driven multistate photomemory〉,團隊成功展示出一種以光的軌道角動量(Orbital Angular Momentum, OAM)為驅動的新型多階光電記憶技術,突破了傳統光記憶元件僅能進行二進制操作的侷限,首次證明光的角動量可作為獨立的資訊控制變數,開啟了以光為核心的多階儲存與光電整合新途徑。[ more ]

Looking to boost your cognitive performance? A single session of exercise may produce immediate benefits. A new study led by Chair Professor Yu-Kai Chang of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at National Taiwan Normal University, in collaboration with Distinguished Professor Jennifer Etnier of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and Dr. Shih-Chun Kao of Purdue University, has just been published in Psychological Bulletin. The team presents pioneering evidence on the effects of a single acute bout of exercise on cognitive function.[ more ]
