NTNU President, Dr. Cheng-Chih Wu, serving as chairperson of the Foundation for International Cooperation in Higher Education of Taiwan (FICHET), led a delegation of 40 representatives from 20 Taiwanese universities and institutions to promote collaboration with American higher education institutions at the NAFSA 2024 Annual Conference & Expo in New Orleans held from May 29 to 31, 2024.[ more ]

為擴展學生交換機會，臺師大近年在歐洲深耕有成，目前共有112所姊妹校，法國姊妹校數量僅次於德國，為姊妹校數排名第二多的歐洲國家。臺師大與法國姊妹校來往密切，繼今年初舉辦的「臺灣-法國高等教育高峰會」約有20名大學校長或副校長來臺參與，國際知名的「巴黎高等政治學院」也於今年4月派代表Alexandre Mariani來臺與臺師大學生舉行座談，熱情歡迎臺師大學生赴該校交換學習。[ more ]

In May 2024, a delegation from Purdue University's College of Liberal Arts (CLA) visited NTNU to enhance faculty collaboration and strengthen their academic partnership. This visit marked a significant milestone in the ongoing cooperation between the two institutions, which was formalized with a university-wide Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in December 2022.[ more ]

美國德州大學奧斯汀分校Daniel Jaffe研發長於2024年3月28日造訪臺師大。由吳正己校長、印永翔副校長、許瑛玿研發長、劉以德國際長共同接待。除討論校級跨域學術合作，亦邀請到天文與重力中心李悅寧副主任與卜宏毅助理教授與會，交流天文研究發展。 德州大學奧斯汀分校為美國八所「公立常春藤」名校之一，2024年登上《泰晤士高等教育》世界大學排名第52名。[ more ]

On June 10, a delegation from National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) led by Vice President Y.H. Frank Ying visited Charles University in the Czech Republic. Founded in 1348 by Charles IV of the Holy Roman Empire, Charles University stands as the oldest and highest-ranking university in Central Europe.[ more ]

國立臺灣師範大學印永翔副校長於6月10日率領理學院代表團拜訪捷克查理大學（Charles University）。這是中歐最古老的大學，由神聖羅馬帝國查理四世於1348年創立，也是捷克最高學府。 查理大學數學與物理學院院長Rokyta教授熱情歡迎臺師大訪團。他首先介紹查理大學的悠久歷史及其自然科學系所的設置，特別提及查理大學與臺灣多所大學已有合作關係，包括與本校體育與運動科學系也有教師交換。Rokyta教授表示，查理大學非常期待與臺師大理學院在數學、物理及資訊工程等領域進一步合作。[ more ]

National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) is launching a pioneering off-site training program in collaboration with The University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin). This summer initiative, available to teachers from various colleges and universities in Taiwan, features a two-week in-person course at UT Austin from July 22 to August 3. [ more ]

教育部推動「大專校院學生雙語化學習計畫」，國立臺灣師範大學從2021年度至今連年獲教育部核定為「重點培育學校」之一，並於2022年由教育部支持成立EMI教學資源中心，負責推動全國的EMI教師培訓計畫，已成功培訓國內數百位EMI教師取得證書。 臺師大的EMI教學資源中心提供多樣化的師資培訓課程，今年更首度辦理移地訓練，與美國德州大學奧斯汀分校 (The University of Texas at Austin, UT Austin) 合作，共同規劃暑期移地培訓課程，開放給全國大專院校教師參與。[ more ]

In response to the increasing demands of student activities, teaching, research, and overall school development, NTNU has announced plans to construct a new multi-functional building. The University Academic Alliance in Taiwan (UAAT) and the Kyushu, Okinawa Open University Alliance (KOOU) from Japan have formally agreed to a five-year initiative aimed at boosting higher education ties between the two regions. This agreement was sealed through a memorandum of international cooperation signed by representatives from 12 Taiwanese universities and 11 Japanese universities, focusing on a variety of educational exchange programs and developmental strategies.[ more ]
