The Ministry of Education sent an official employment letter to NTNU on November 13th, inviting the current Vice-President Chang Guo-En to be the 13th president of NTNU. After careful consideration of the Selection Committee, Professor Chang was chosen to be the new president of NTNU. His 4-year term will start on February 22nd, 2010, and ends on February 21st, 2014. Professor Chang, a Ph.D of Electrical Engineering, National Taiwan University, came to NTNU in 1987. Besides working as a frontline teacher, he had also taken administrative posts.
