Graduated in 1973 from the Department of Education, NTNU, Wu Qing-Ji will become Taiwan’s new Minister of Education. He has full educational experience – including primary teachers and several administrative positions in the Ministry of Education. He is currently an executive director of the Association of NTNU Alumni. Coming from a less privileged background, Wu is a living model of NTNU’s school motto: integrity, diligence and simplicity. He struggled a little in the first 2 years at elementary school, but had since been the top students in his class, gaining scholarship to support his study until his graduation from NTNU.
