With the global recession, unpaid leaves became common phenomena. In correspondence to the Job Fair on May 20th, NTNU held 6 lectures to provide graduate-to-bes a sundry of preparation they could do before entering into workplace. The first lecture was on May 7th. Lin Bing-Bin, chairman of National Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, Yao Jiang-Lin, worker director of Taiwan Power Company, and Chen Zhi-Ren, president of Welldone Company were invited to talk about “The Crisis and Turning Point of College Students in the Workplace”. They suggested students to be professional, studious, patient and resilient.
