National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) students and residents from local Lung-chiuan community will share their love and hope with more people through a marching on Sunday.
This marching activity is called “2007 NTNU Love and Hope Christmas Carnival Marching” and will be co-organized by NTNU students and Lung-chiuan Neighborhood residents as they will dress up in different costumes, by following the theme of the activity – love and hope, for the marching. The actual marching activity will be launched at 3pm and end at 5pm on Sunday, while traffic on Shida Rd. and parts of Hoping East Rd. will be temporarily re-routed.
Head of Lung-chiuan Neighborhood James Parng (龐維良) said that as one of the community members, he is excited about the upcoming event on Sunday.
"As a local resident, I would certainly welcome events like this, especially it shall be a good chance for NTNU students to walk out of the campus and join the community because they are also a part of it,” Parng said.
