The third “National Alumni Association and Region Alumni Association Summit” held by NTNU and National Alumni Association took place at Taitung on December 2nd. The representatives of each association, NTNU teachers, and National Alumni Association representatives gathered together to improve the relationship, share the current event of alumni association affairs, each association representative shared the experiences, and Principal Chang Kuo-en shared the current events and improvements in school.
The outstanding aluminum Tsai Dian-mou, the current principal of National Taitung University, greeted everyone as a local. The schedule specially brought everyone to visit the beautiful Taitung University campus. The activity mainly discussed the related issues of current events. How to react to the low birth rate and the impact on required education, how to face the campus bully events, how to contact between different association were the topics mainly discussed. Every participant actively shared his or her own experiences.
About 40 alumni from different county and city association participated in the summit. Next year, the summit would be held at Linkou campus, welcomed every representative to participate.
