NTNU graduate institute of design and art students had great performances in the London International Awards, Germany iF design concept award, International Biennale of the Poster in Mexico, and Netherlands Out:Put International Students Award. The record made NTNU one of the outstanding performances universities.
Ministry of Education “2011 Design Strategies- encourage students to participate in the international contest of art and design plan” awarded ceremony was held on December 8th at Ministry of Education. Taiwanese students won 53 awards in total, received 2 million and 330 thousands scholarship. NTNU students won 10 of the awards, received 440 thousands of scholarship in total. With Shichian University and National Taiwan University of Technology stood the top three universities in Taiwan.
NTNU was always the first choice in the art and design field. Next year, the departments would combine the resources and international interchange experience with NTNU culture creative center to maintain the priority of design departments. At the same time, extend the field to popular design, product design, multimedia design teaching and researching. NTNU would maintain to be the top of the domestic art and design education field.
