NTNU Students Movie Art Music Festival For Human Rights

 NTNU students association assisted by the Chinese Brush Painting Workshop combined art, music, and movie to hold the human rights issue salon active movie theatre, photography exhibition, decoration art, and concert. The activities were full of the reflections and introspection, expected every student to participate in.

The series of activities mainly discussed the issues of international labor, students’ rights, and homosexual. The salon invited Taiwan International Workers Association, Students rights authority investigation evaluation group, Loving Parents of LGBT Taiwan, and Youth Labor Union 95 to discuss on certain topic.

The active movie theatre was named “Excuse Me Movie Theatre”. The concept was from the early Taiwan, neighborhood could excuse each other to watch the movie in public. This is the concept of sharing the public space. The human rights concert combined the controversial issues. The photography exhibition displayed the works from public. The decoration art “Come out the Closet” symbolized to drop the infamy of “Come out”.

NTNU students association expected students could discuss human rights as a human or as certain identity through the series of activities, awaked student’s conscious of human rights, respected and tolerated multi culture.
