由世界青少年發明展國際秘書處主辦的2024年第20屆世界青少年發明展(International Exhibition for Young Inventor, IEYI)1月22日於國立臺灣師範大學舉辦頒獎典禮,並邀請教育部林騰蛟次長、臺師大陳焜銘副校長出席。

世界青少年發明展以提倡青少年創新與發明能量為活動宗旨,參賽對象年齡橫跨6~19歲,競賽類別分為「災害應變」、「運動休閒」、「農糧技術」、「綠能科技」、「安全健康」、「社會照顧」、「教育」、「高齡照護」、「便利生活」及「未來科技世界繪圖」等十項。

2024 IEYI世界青少年發明展國內賽遴選出69支國家代表隊伍,在 2024年8月3日至8月7日由世界青少年發明展國際秘書處之國際主席洪榮昭教授辦理世界賽。此次臺灣代表團與奧地利、澳洲、加拿大、中國、捷克、德國、香港、印尼、日本、南韓、澳門、馬來西亞、尼加拉瓜、紐西蘭、菲律賓、俄羅斯、新加坡、泰國、美國、越南等21個國家與地區的234件參展作品一較高下,奪得13面金牌(本屆共頒發31面金牌)、16面銀牌、20面銅牌及20項國家特別獎,成績亮眼。

林騰蛟次長表示,世界青少年發明展的活動精神正好呼應到108課綱中強調的探究實作,鼓勵學生動手、自學自造,這樣的精神能讓同學發掘問題,再從問題中引起好奇心,從而運用創造思考能力解決問題、創新創作,將在學校中的所學綜合運用,解決生活中可能造成不便的問題。

「看到同學們和次長簡單說明(發明成果),我就發現我們現在的同學都很有自信心。」陳焜銘副校長說,擁有好奇心、掌握對科學知識與先人經驗的素養、抱持熱忱和熱情,是養成專業的重要因素。他也表示,人才培育是國家發展相當重要的一環,即便臺師大在近年轉型成為綜合大學,對於教育與人才培養方面仍希望能盡一份心力,培養帶著走的能力發展,是國家未來發展的重要方向。(撰稿:校園記者社教116馮凱婷 / 編輯:張適 / 核稿:胡世澤)

「遇水則發-淹水警報器」為反思日趨嚴重的全球暖化,導致極端氣候如暴雨現象造成災害頻傳,因此設計有別於傳統一體式警報系統,將感應器及發報器分開設置,如:將感應器設置低水位處,發報器設置管理室,淹水時管理人員即刻得知戶外積淹水情形,做出災害應變。此設計大幅提升警報器在各種公共環境中的應用,更能幫助政府單位主動發送緊急訊息,對該地居民示警。

布農語句子解謎之旅

本作品是一款教育工具,旨在通過遊戲化的方式幫助學習者學習布農族語。透過互動的單詞測驗和句子練習,使用者能輕鬆學習並記住布農語的基本詞彙與句子。此作品不僅有助於語言學習,還促進了布農文化的保存與傳承。結合 RFID AI 技術與多媒體設計,該學習機器提供了視覺與聽覺並重的學習體驗,同時其便攜的設計讓學習者隨時隨地都能進行學習。

節能氣壓驅動柵欄裝置

放學後有交通導護志工協助保護我們過馬路,因此我們能夠安全穿越馬路。然而,我們有時會看到新聞報導志工不小心被車輛撞傷。基於這個原因, 我們希望設計一個能保護他們安全的裝置。

我們使用氣動驅動來升降護欄。遙控器和護欄由直流電池供電,無需外接電源。空氣壓縮機會將空氣注入儲氣桶,氣缸內的空氣由電子裝置控制,從而升降護欄。當感應器偵測到護欄已升至或降至固定角度時,電源會自動切斷。此發明可適用於各種場所,護欄配有輪子,方便隨處移動。

當此裝置碰觸到車輛或行人時,會自動停止空氣進入機器,使裝置立即停止運作,避免撞到任何人或車輛。

置物櫃裡的東西凌亂不堪,東西買太多放到過期或忘記,這些是很多人困擾的問題,我們的作品-3Q 」,結合智能、節能、收納便利不占空間等多項優點。前後櫃可 360 度旋轉,收納整齊且不占空間;QRcode 設計可以掌握每個櫃子內存放的物體清單,並讓物體輕鬆歸櫃;食物過期前七天會傳email 到信箱提醒清除,使用手機操作,不須再購置面板,這是一個真正做到節能減碳的智能收納櫃。

我會製作這台機器人是因為每當室內空間設計師需要擺放家具時,須拿著皮尺或雷射測距儀測量空間。在科技快速發展的時代下,難道不能交給機器人來處理嗎?本作品結合距離傳感器與力傳感器創作一個空間測量機器 人,機器人可自行繞行空間一圈後回到起點,進而取得該空間資訊。 本作品車體啟動後自起點開始順時針繞行空間一圈,中途繞行一圈後回到起點,設起點為 XY 座標原點(0,0),過程中記錄各牆面的長度與各牆角 XY 座標位置, 最後計算該空間面積。

黏黏多功能廚房手套

媽媽和廚師在廚房準備美味的餐點,常常手忙腳亂、也很容易受傷。我 想幫他們解決這個問題,因此我設計了這款「黏黏多功能廚房手套」,不僅能隔熱,更能成為隨身小幫手。我的手套強力的附著性不僅好替換,也讓手套更方便收納。

第一個要介紹左手手套的功能,分成以下四種:

1. 計時:時間對煮飯很重要,例如煎牛排時,要精確計算時間。

2. 投影食譜:食譜靠近火容易引起火災,亂放又容易弄濕。所以用手套 投影到上,既不會弄濕也減少危險。

3. 防滑落:手沾到水濕濕的容易摔破碗盤,所以這雙手套提供防滑功能。

4. 防切:媽媽和廚師如果切到手就沒辦法繼續做事,所以我加入了手指防切功能。

第二個要介紹右手手套的功能,分成以下三種:

1. 可替換菜瓜布與海綿:用途是刷洗鍋具和餐具。

2. 磨泥器:可以磨起司和薑,我們不用再另外準備工具,張開右手就可以使用。

3. 剪刀:可以用來剪食物和包裝袋。

可程式步進音樂演奏器

步進音樂演奏器是由電子琴、音符輸入鍵、音符儲存器、矩陣轉換電路、微電流感應接收電路組合而成。

操作方法:可以兩人以上用手串接互相拍打,形成一個電流迴路來觸發音符播放器演奏音樂,把已輸入儲存的歌曲音符一個一個依拍打的速度陸續播放出來。是親子遊戲、男女朋友或是團體活動最佳的互動遊戲。

電扶梯 防夾腳裝置

民眾搭電扶梯時,常因鞋子太靠近階梯間隙,導致被捲入夾縫而受傷。因此,我們設計出能夠「強制讓鞋子遠離電扶梯夾縫」的裝置,來防止事故發生。

設計方法:

1. 在電扶梯階梯垂直面安裝一排半徑 2cm、管徑 0.3cm 的紅色空心圓弧鐵管。

2. 在階梯平面踏板內側,依序切割出長 3cm、寬 0.5cm 寬的溝槽,讓圓弧鐵管升降時能通過。

使用說明:

1. 當電扶梯上升時,圓弧鐵管會出現並遮蓋縫隙,阻擋鞋子靠近縫隙。

2. 當階梯變平時,圓弧管會隱沒在溝槽中,讓使用者前進時不會被絆倒。

3. 經過模擬測試後,確認裝置不會影響電扶梯正常運作。

電阻這樣教我就懂

本作品「電阻這樣教我就懂」是一個教育用途的創新教具,透過使用ArduinoLED 燈和 3D 列印的大型電阻模型,學生可以輕鬆辨識電阻上的色環,並透過動手操作來增加學習記憶。此裝置提供三種模式,包括使用者輸入電阻值、測試色碼對應,以及直接讀取實際電阻的歐姆值,並顯示相對應的顏色。此作品的設計不僅增進學生對電阻、歐姆定律與光學概念的理解, 也能在教學中提高學習效果,更能幫助視障人士方便學習電學知識。

偵測災害發生即時防止

能源損失系統

本研究利用地震檢知器、火災檢知器、瓦斯檢知器、控制水模組、控制瓦斯模組、控制電源模組及警報系統,製作完成一套「偵測災害發生即時防止能源損失系統」,本裝置之主要硬體裝置之單晶片微控制器(Arduino Mega 2560)作為中央處理模組,並利用 Wi-Fi 通訊模組(ESP8266),並將資料傳送雲端,可使用智慧型手機連接雲端資料庫,以達到資料分析與管理控制,當災害發生時,本裝置將會自動關閉瓦斯,自動關閉電源,自動開啓逃生門, 自動啓動警報器,將災害降到最低,以達到保護生命財產安全最佳化。

AI 結帳系統

買麵包時,由於員工有限,顧客經常需要花時間排隊結帳和包裝。此外, 共用盤子放置麵包會引起衛生問題,而使用塑膠袋包裝也不環保。為了解決這些問題,我們計劃設計一套完整的結帳及包裝系統,利用 YOLOv8 AI 視覺辨識技術進行快速結帳計算。

1. 可折疊麵包盒:顧客使用我們設計的能攤成一張紙且易於折疊的麵包盒。

2. 麵包挑選及運送:顧客挑選好麵包後,將麵包盒放在運輸帶上,運輸帶將其送到攝像頭下方。

3. AI 視覺辨識:攝像頭捕捉麵包圖像,並使用 YOLOv8 識別麵包種類及信心度,顯示在螢幕上。我們收集麵包照片,使用 Roboflow 進行標註,在 Google Colab 上訓練模型,並匯入 VS Code 中。螢幕顯示:(1)麵包種類(2)價格及數量(3)總價

4. 顏色區分麵包:購買的麵包會用顏色區分。確認價格後,運輸帶將麵包盒移到後半部分。

5. 自動包裝:使用伺服馬達自動合上盒蓋,完成包裝。

Stand Tall』是一款創新的系統,旨在透過即時監控和糾正姿勢來促進健康的生活方式。使用者的姿勢由視訊鏡頭捕捉,然後通過 MediaPipe Holistic 處理影像,以識別和繪製人體上的特徵點。為了檢測不良姿勢,系統會計算這些特徵點之間的角度。一旦識別到不良姿勢,系統會通過 Line、文字轉語音(TTS)的聲音提醒以及電腦螢幕上的警報立即通知使用者。該系統還會將不良姿勢的辨識資料記錄在 Google 試算表中以供追蹤。透過使用經濟實惠的技術,『Stand Tall』讓使用者能經由系統提醒,維持良好及健康的姿勢。

身為學生的我們,至今已做過數次的視力檢查,從中發現學校護理師的工作量往往因為定期檢查而大幅增高,因此我們想設計出一款即時視覺檢查的系統,讓護理師們能減少工作量,只需在一旁輔助學生使用電腦進行視覺的檢測。而我們也有遇過身邊的老年人要去醫院做視力檢測,卻礙於身體不便而需要人協助才能前往醫院;我們創作的軟體能讓能讓大眾在家中自行檢測視力,不論是長者或任何人都能更輕易的去追蹤自己的眼睛狀況。

Spatial Measurement Robot

When someone asks about the size of a space, the response is often around 3 ping! Before an interior designer begins their design, they need to measure the space using a tape measure or a laser distance meter. Some spaces even require two people to measure together, which is quite labor-intensive and time-consuming. With the advent of the AI era, can't we leave this task to robots? In light of this, we have created a spatial measurement robot that combines distance sensors and wheel motor devices. Interior designers can take the space measurement robot with them to measure the space. By pressing the start button, they can attend to other tasks, and when they return, the robot will have completed the measurements of wall lengths, ceiling heights, floor areas, and other dimensions. The advantage of my invention: (1) Saving manpower and time costs: Interior designers can conduct space measurements by bringing a spatial measurement robot. After pressing the start button, they can attend to other matters, and when they return, the robot will have completed measurements of wall lengths, ceiling heights, floor areas, and so on. (2) Reducing human error: By having the robot handle space measurement tasks, human errors can be minimized. This work is assembled using three distance sensors and a wheel motor device.

Multifunctional Hook-and-Loop Kitchen Gloves

'Hello everyone, today I am going to introduce the “Multifunctional Hook-and-Loop Kitchen Gloves”. While moms and chefs prepare meals in the kitchen, they are often busy and easily injured. I want to help them solve these problems, so I designed this “Multifunctional Hook and-Loop Kitchen Gloves”. Both sides of the gloves are heat-resistant and suitable for cooking circumstances. I designed the multiple functions for the gloves by using hook-and-loop adhesion ability, which can shift their components quickly and become portable helpers.

The first part is to introduce my left-hand glove, including the following four functions:

1. Timing: Time is very important for cooking. For example, when frying steak, you must calculate the time accurately.

2. Recipe-projecting: Recipes placed close to the heat source can easily cause fire, and they can easily get wet if placed randomly. We can use gloves to project recipes onto a plane, which will be more convenient and reduce the risk.

3. Anti-slip: dishes and bowls could slip from wet hands frequently, and be broken easily, so this pair of gloves provides the anti-slip function.

4. Anti-cut: Moms and chefs would not be able to work if their fingers got hurt, so I added the anti-cut function for fingers.

The second part is to introduce my right-hand glove, including the following three functions:

1. Replaceable vegetable cloth and sponge: it allows users to change the wear and tear material immediately while washing and scrubbing tableware.

2. Mud grinder: It can grind cheese and ginger. Users don’t need to prepare additional tools and can grind food with the right hand directly.

3. Scissors: They allow users to cut food and packaging bags immediately without the need to handle another tool.'

Escalator anti-pinch device

'When people ride escalators, they are often injured when their shoes are caught in the crevices because they are too close to the stair gaps. Therefore, we designed a device that can “force shoes away from escalator crevices” to prevent accidents.

Design method:

1. Install a row of red hollow circular iron pipes with 2cm radius and 0.3cm pipe diameter on the vertical side of the escalator steps.

2. On the inner side of the escalator tread plane, cut out a 3. cm long and 0.5cm wide groove in order to allow the circular iron pipe to pass through when it is raised and lowered.

Instructions for use:

1. When the escalator rises, the rounded iron pipe will appear and cover the gap, preventing shoes from approaching the gap.

2. When the escalator flattens, the tube will be hidden in the groove, so that the user will not be tripped when moving forward.

3. After simulation tests, it is confirmed that the device will not affect the normal operation of the escalator.'

The project ' Resistor Teaching Machine' is an innovative educational tool that utilizes Arduino, LED lights, and a 3D-printed large resistor model. It allows students to easily identify the color bands on resistors and enhances memory retention through hands-on activities. This device offers three modes: entering the resistance value, testing color code correspondence, and directly reading the actual resistance value, displaying the corresponding colors. 'When buying bread, customers often face long wait times for checkout and packaging due to limited staff. Additionally, using shared trays for bread poses hygiene issues, and plastic bags are not environmentally friendly. To address these concerns, we plan to develop a comprehensive checkout and packaging system that leverages YOLOv8 AI vision technology for quick and accurate checkout.

1. Foldable Bread Box:

Customers will use our specially designed bread box, which can be unfolded into a flat sheet and is easy to fold.

2. Bread Selection and Transport:

After selecting their bread, customers place the bread box on a conveyor belt, which transports it to a camera.

3. AI Vision Recognition:

The camera captures images of the bread and uses YOLO v8 to identify the type of bread and its confidence level, displaying this information on a screen. We collect images of the bread, annotate them using Roboflow, train the model on Google Colab ,and import it into VS Code. The screen shows: (1)Bread type (2)Price and quantity (3)Total cost

4. Color-Coded Bread:

Purchased bread is color-coded for easy identification. After confirming the price, the conveyor belt moves the bread box to the packing area.

5. Automatic Packaging:

A servo motor automatically closes the box lid, completing the packaging process.'

Stand Tall: Timely Reminder System for Correcting Poor Standing Posture

Stand Tall is an innovative device designed to promote a healthy lifestyle by monitoring and correcting posture in real-time. The user's posture is captured using a webcam, and then MediaPipe Holistic processes the image to identify and plot feature points on the human body. To detect bad posture, the system calculates the angles between these spots. The system notifies the user immediately with the Line app, an audio alert via text-to-speech (TTS), and an alert on the computer screen when poor posture is identified. The device also records posture data in Google Sheets for tracking.

Comprehensive Visual Detection System

This work allows users to conduct various eye tests and relaxation exercises at home, reducing the time and manpower needed for eye examinations in schools. The visual examination function utilizes the MediaPipe Hand model to capture the coordinates of the hand and determine its orientation based on these coordinates. This differs from previous methods that relied on mouse clicks to identify the user's response direction. Additionally, there's no need to maintain a distance of 3 to 5 meters from the screen for visual testing, as mathematical formulas enable proportional scaling of images, allowing tests to be conducted directly at the computer desk. Users can also interact with ChatGPT directly within this work without the need to use a separate browser. Furthermore, users have multiple options for storing test results, and schools can record results by class for easy access when needed.
