【公共事務中心校園記者張依茜報導】「2015亞洲名校籃球邀請賽」7月30日至8月2日將在師大體育館點燃戰火，師大首度舉辦國際男籃邀請賽，8支籃球強權以球會友、一決高下。
首屆國際邀請賽主題「勁步」，象徵師大人勇往直前的衝勁及不斷追求進步的態度。與會隊伍包括義守大學、明道大學、國立體育大學、台藝大、北京大學、筑波大學及新加坡管理學院等8所大學男子籃球隊。
校長張國恩表示，運動選手養成不易，除了平時學科及術科訓練，比賽是迅速成長、累積經驗的機會。體育教育並非將選手當作比賽工具，關注選手未來生涯發展才是體育教育的職責。
張校長提到，去年男甲籃選手因連坐法，全隊禁賽一年，不僅無法參加UBA，連帶影響國手選拔、SBL選秀，籃球生涯面臨挑戰。因此，師大為了不中斷學生的籃球生涯，承諾舉辦國際型籃球邀請賽，累積選手的實戰經驗。
「用積極角度詮釋失敗，把挫折當作學習機會。」張校長鼓勵學生，藉由這次比賽，展現男甲籃實力，同時，向社會大眾證明他們的成長和蛻變，持續在籃球場上發光。

球隊須知：
一、比賽地點：臺灣師範大學校本部體育館（台北市大安區和平東路一段162號）。
二、參加比賽球隊須於表訂開賽時間二十分鐘前，向記錄台並辦妥出賽手續。賽程表中，隊名居前者穿淺色球衣( 最好是白色 )，坐記錄台面向記錄台的左側；隊名居後者穿深色球衣坐記錄台面向記錄台的右左側。
三、比賽制度：共八隊參加，預賽採分組循環賽制，判定各隊預賽名次，決賽由分組第一名 爭冠、亞軍。分組第二名爭第三名、第四名。分組第三名爭第五名、第六名。分組第四名爭第七名、 第八名。
四、參加學校：A組：國立臺灣師範大學、國立高雄師範大學、國立體育大學、新加坡管理學院。 B組：義守大學、筑波大學、明道大學、臺灣藝大。共8隊。
System of Competition:
1.Venue of Competition: NTNU Gymnasium Taipei City［No.162, Sec. 1, Heping E. Rd., Da’an Dist., Taipei City 106, Taiwan (R.O.C.)］
2.Participating teams must register at the scorer’s table 20 minutes before the game starts. The first team named in the game schedule (home team) shall wear light-coloured shirts (preferably white) and sits on the left side of the scorer’s table (facing the court). The second team named in the game schedule (visiting team) shall wear dark-coloured shirts.
3.Tournament format: In preliminary round, a total of 8 teams are divided into two pools in which they play in a single round-robin format. In the final, teams from different pools will play against each other: teams ranked the first play in a champion match; teams ranked the second for the 3rd and 4th positions; teams ranked the third play for the 5th and 6th positions; teams ranked the fourth for the 7th and 8th positions.
