配合國際蝙蝠年　臺師大28日起舉辦動物生理與行為適應國際學術研討會
　　【生命科學系提供】聯合國環境規劃署為了替被長期污名化的蝙蝠伸張正義，並且表彰蝙蝠對全球生態環境的偉大貢獻，特別向世界各國宣佈2011-2012年是全球的國際蝙蝠年！而國立臺灣師範大學生命科學系也將在10月28日(本周五)假國立臺灣師範大學公館校區綜合館三樓國際會議廳辦理"動物生理與行為適應國際學術研討會"。
 
　　研討會主要由本校總務長吳忠信博士發起籌畫，吳忠信目前是聯合國國際蝙蝠年組織的亞洲合作夥伴之一-台灣蝙蝠學會的理事長。本研討會目前由美國密蘇里大學的Philip Jen教授擔任大會名譽主席，會議經費主要由國科會生命科學研究推動中心以及國立臺灣師範大學研究發展處補助提供，熱情邀請海內外致力於動物生理與行為適應研究的科學家共同為蝙蝠及其他動物的生理與行為適應研究做出重大貢獻。
 
　　本研討會邀請美國、加拿大、日本、紐西蘭等國以及大陸學者來台參與此一盛會，希望藉此研討會與國內相關領域之專家學者以及研究學生共同交流並交換新知。
 
　　此外，"動物生理與行為適應國際學術研討會"在10月29日(本周六)上午將在台北市立動物園熊貓館的國際會議廳繼續舉行；11月1日(下周二)上午在行政院農業委員會特有生物研究保育中心演講廳繼續舉行。
　　　
　　研討會的議程表列如下，歡迎有興趣的師生與社會人士自由前往參加。國立台灣師範大學生命科學系過去推動蝙蝠保育研究工作不餘遺力，本次研討會希望藉由這些活動能夠加深普羅大眾對於蝙蝠的瞭解與體驗，期待本校辦理國際蝙蝠年活動能鼓勵民眾積極參與蝙蝠保護，使最美麗的「夜空舞者」繼續為全球生物多樣性提供寶貴的貢獻。
