From December 17th to 21st 2024, National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) Executive Vice President Kwun-Min Chen led a University Academic Alliance in Taiwan (UAAT) delegation comprised of representatives from National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU), National Chengchi University (NCCU), and National Chung-Hsing University (NCHU), to visit three Kyushu, Okinawa Open University Alliance (KOOU) universities in Japan, namely: Kumamoto University, Saga University, and Kagoshima University.[ more ]

NTNU recently joined the Taiwan-UK University Consortium, established last year. The consortium’s inaugural forum, held from November 6 to 8 at National Sun Yat-Sen University, convened representatives from eight leading universities in Taiwan and the United Kingdom to explore opportunities for international collaboration in research, teaching, and other academic fields.[ more ]
國立臺灣師範大學加入去年組成的臺英大學聯盟(Taiwan-UK University Consortium),首屆論壇於11月6日至8日在國立中山大學盛大舉行,來自英國和臺灣的8所頂尖大學代表齊聚一堂,雙方聚焦討論研究、教學等多層面的國際合作機會。
參與的英國學校包括愛丁堡大學、新堡大學、利物浦大學及西蘇格蘭大學;臺灣方面則有國立臺灣師範大學、國立臺灣大學、國立清華大學及國立中山大學。臺英大學聯盟於2023年11月20日在愛丁堡簽署合作備忘錄,旨在促進雙邊師生交流、深化學術研究合作,並協力推動雙語教育與淨零排放等關鍵議題。[ more ]

NTNU Achieves Benchmark Status in MOE Bilingual Initiative

On November 8, National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) was designated a 'Benchmark University' for the 'Bilingual Education for Students in Higher Education Program' by the Ministry of Education (MOE), recognizing NTNU's exceptional achievements in bilingual education. Since the 2021 academic year, NTNU has been acknowledged by the MOE as a key institution for bilingual education through its diligent implementation of the Bilingual Education for Students in College (BEST) program. 臺師大於11月8日榮獲教育部核定為「大專校院雙語化學習計畫標竿大學」,彰顯了臺師大在雙語教學上的卓越成效,讓全校師生倍感光榮。自110學年度起,臺師大獲為教育部認定為雙語重點培育學校,致力於學生雙語化學習計畫(BEST計畫)。經過三年的努力,今日再度獲得教育部的肯定,成功晉升為標竿大學,獲得「全校型標竿計畫」,充分體現了臺師大在雙語教育推動上方向正確且成果豐碩。[ more ]

On November 1st, the College of Education at National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) hosted the APATE International Conference with the theme 'Transdisciplinary Research and Practice in Teacher Education.' The two-day event was met with the challenge of Typhoon Kong-rey, but under the emergency response led by APATE President and Dean of the College of Education, Prof. Hsiu-Lan Shelley Tien, the conference was held in a hybrid format with both online and in-person sessions.[ more ]
國立臺灣師範大學教育學院於11月1日舉辦亞太師資學會國際研討會,主題為「教師教育中的跨學科研究與實踐」(Transdisciplinary Research and Practice in Teacher Education),活動為期兩天。此次研討會遭遇了強颱康芮,在APATE理事長暨教育學院院長田秀蘭院長帶領工作人員們緊急應變下,採線上實體雙軌同步進行方式,兩天會議參與總人次分別為:實體281人次,線上276人次,吸引來自臺灣、日本、泰國、新加坡、菲律賓、馬來西亞、越南、印尼、韓國、英格蘭、中國及澳洲等12國學者齊聚探討區域間的教育合作及未來展望。[ more ]

國立臺灣師範大學與國立故宮博物院於113年12月3日上午,在師大美術館舉行合作備忘錄簽署儀式,深化雙方在學術研究與實務合作上的穩定合作,並推動文化與教育領域的多元交流。

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a prevalent neurodevelopmental disorder in children and adolescents, significantly impacting cognitive learning and social interactions. Methylphenidate (MPH) is the primary pharmacological treatment for ADHD; however, parents’ concerns about potential side effects, including self-harm and suicide, have posed substantial challenges for clinical management. 注意力不足過動症(Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder,ADHD)影響人的認知學習、人際相處,是兒童及少年盛行率最高的精神疾患。其主要治療藥物為派醋甲酯(methylphenidate, MPH),卻曾有家長將孩子服藥的副作用與自傷、自殺掛鉤,使得臨床治療變得困難重重。國立臺灣師範大學健康促進與衛生教育系教授李子奇率全國之先,進一步釐清MPH藥物與死亡率的關係,發現服藥者相較未服藥者有較低的總體死亡率,若診斷ADHD後,愈早使用MPH與長期使用MPH也有著較低的死亡率。[ more ]

Traditional solar cells primarily use silicon as its main material. However, with rapid advancements in technology, perovskite solar cells—a third-generation technology with lower costs and shorter production times—are now considered the most promising alternative to silicon-based solar cells. Professor Wen-Chin Lin of the Department of Physics at National Taiwan Normal University leads a research team that is actively exploring the potential of perovskite materials. [ more ]
傳統的太陽能電池多半使用「矽」作為原料,隨著科技發展日新月異,技術成本低、製程短的第三代太陽能電池「鈣鈦礦」,被視為最具潛力替代矽太陽能電池的技術。國立臺灣師範大學物理系教授林文欽率領研究團隊緊跟「鈣鈦礦」熱潮,嘗試結合鐵磁金屬與鈣鈦礦,但光讓兩種截然不同的物質「整齊黏好」是個難題,這項研究透過二維材料成功克服表面張力,為半導體原料研究提供新觀點。[ more ]

Students Connect with Amis Community in Cross-Cultural Trip to Taitung
臺師大學生的永續足跡: 探索都蘭,見證永續與在地創生的跨文化對話

A group of NTNU students recently traveled to the indigenous Amis village of Dulan in Taitung, Taiwan, to take part in a cultural exchange focused on sustainability and community development. Led by Professor Yi-De Liu, Director of the Office of International Affairs, the trip brought together 30 local and international students from Malaysia, Myanmar, Colombia, Taiwan, and other countries. Through workshops, site visits, and shared experiences with the Amis community, students gained insight into how indigenous traditions and sustainable practices intersect in daily life.[ more ]
在國際事務處處長劉以德教授帶領下,30位臺師大本地與境外生一同跨出校園,前進臺東都蘭部落,與臺灣阿美族族人在文化與環境永續議題上一起探索與學習。劉以德國際長指出,「這不僅是一場文化體驗之旅,更是一次跨國的文化對話與社會學習之旅」。此次的永續足跡有來自馬來西亞、緬甸、哥倫比亞及臺灣等國家的學生,深入見證臺東都蘭阿美族原住民族文化的韌性與創新,進一步落實臺師大的永續行動與倡議![ more ]

體現運動共融精神 奧林匹克和平鐵人賽在臺師大登場

The Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee, in conjunction with its Peace through Sport Committee, hosted the 2024 Olympic Peace Triathlon at National Taiwan Normal University on October 12, 2024.
The event, which embodied the spirit of 'Integration by Sports', attracted a diverse group of participants, particularly athletes with disabilities, making it the highlight of the event.[ more ]
中華奧會運動促進和平委員會主辦的2024奧林匹克和平鐵人賽,10月12日於國立臺灣師範大學舉行,賽事充分體現了「運動共融」的精神,吸引了來自各界的參賽者,特別是身心障礙選手的多元參與,成為活動的亮點之一。
這次共有19位身心障礙選手報名,包括自閉症、聽障、糖尿病、視障(全盲及低視力)和肢體障礙(輪椅族群、獨臂截肢)的選手。主辦單位特別為這些選手提供專業協助,確保他們在安全且包容的環境中競賽,實現真正的共融。
