Taiwan President Ing-Wen Tsai attended the official launch of National Taiwan Normal University’s tenth College on October 4. Present at the unveiling ceremony of the College of Industry-Academia Innovation (CIAI) at NTNU were Minister of Education Wen-Chung Pan, NTNU President Cheng-Chih Wu, Chairman of NTNU Alumni Association Sheng-Hsiung Hsu, Honorary Chairman Jin-Pyng Wang, and business leaders from 12 enterprise partners in the program's inaugural year, including Chant Oil Co. National Taiwan Normal University President Cheng-Chih Wu led a four-member delegation on a visit to Germany from 4-15 July, meeting with six of Germany's top institutions, including Ruhr University Bochum, Georg-August-University Göttingen, University of Münster, Goethe University Frankfurt, and Free University Berlin which are all partner institutions with NTNU. Meanwhile, the NTNU delegation has reached a memorandum of understanding for university-wide cooperation with Technical University of Darmstadt.[ more ]

Indonesia is increasingly becoming a major country of origin for international students studying in Taiwan, taking second place in 2022 with 16,639 students from Indonesia. At National Taiwan Normal University, students from Indonesia rank fifth in number following Malaysia, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Macau. Meanwhile, Indonesian students comprise the largest overseas group in NTNU doctoral programs.[ more ]

目前在臺灣的印尼境外學生人數逐年成長，111學年度已達1萬6639人，位居第2名。臺師大境外生當中印尼為第五大宗，僅次馬來西亞、香港、越南、澳門，其中博士班印尼生為最大宗。因此，印尼也是本校之重點招生國家之一。此行由吳正己校長率團，於8月11日至15日分別到雅加達和萬隆，參與印尼臺灣教育展開幕、國立臺灣大學系統國際高中聯盟簽約、拜訪印尼教育大學與臺師大印尼校友，隨行的有劉以德國際長、許瑛玿研發長、教育學院田秀蘭院長、華語文教學系陳嘉凌老師、國際處陳心怡專員等。[ more ]

A delegation led by Chung-Ang University President Prof. Sang-Gue Park arrived at National Taiwan Normal University on 8 August. It was the first in-person visit by CAU since the lifting of pandemic prevention measures, and the visitors were warmly greeted by NTNU President Cheng-Chih Wu. 姊妹校韓國中央大學（Chung-Ang University）於8月8日上午來訪臺師大，由吳正己校長代表接待，雙方針對AI教育發展現況進行討論。吳校長表示，臺師大現與國立臺灣大學、國立臺灣科技大學結為聯盟，能為交換生提供豐富多元的三校課程選擇及華語學習資源，對於交換生來說十分具有吸引力。而在疫情前(2019年)臺師大約有59名學生至韓國中央大學交換，而同時也有27名韓國學生來台交流，雙邊往來密切。[ more ]
